I've been working mostly in Unix Administration since my college work-study days in 1985, and my home computing environment has always been a mix of Unix and MacOS platforms. My first computer was a Radio Shack M100 laptop, and my second was a MacPlus.
Since founding the Boston Linux & Unix (BLU) user group (originally as the Boston Computer Society's Linux & Unix SIG), I've been using Linux as my primary computing environment at home; before that I had been using a NeXT cube.
Nowadays I run a mix of Linux and MacOS.
